Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is a 3D platformer developed by Toys for Bob, serving as a direct sequel to Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped from 2007. In this game, players explore vibrant worlds, jump over obstacles, dodge traps, and face off against enemies. The storyline picks up right after the events of Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, disregarding all subsequent entries in the series as non-canonical. Following the defeat at the end of the third installment, the trio of villains—Neo Cortex, Dr. N. Tropy, and Uka Uka—find themselves stranded on a distant planet. After spending decades plotting their escape, they finally succeed, tearing a massive hole in the space-time continuum. It’s up to the player to stop them before they conquer the multiverse.

The gameplay of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time expands on the mechanics of previous installments.
