Dave the Diver is a pixel-art adventure game with elements of economic simulation and RPG. Players assume the role of Dave, a diver who explores ocean depths by day and runs a sushi restaurant by night. Dave, despite frequent comments about his weight, thrives as a diver. Together with his friend Bancho, a sushi chef specializing in rare marine creatures, they manage a sushi restaurant near the mysterious Blue Hole trench. During his explorations for the archaeologist Bacon, Dave discovers an underwater civilization in peril. He decides to do everything he can to save both his world and the newly discovered one. In Dave the Diver, players balance underwater adventures with restaurant management. By day, they dive to collect marine life and treasures, and by night, they use these finds to serve unique sushi dishes, expanding their restaurant's reputation and clientele.
