Destiny: The Collection is a comprehensive edition of the science fiction FPS with MMO and RPG elements, developed by Bungie Software, the creators of the Halo series. 

The story begins in the 28th century, after a period known as the "Golden Age," during which humanity experienced rapid expansion and colonized other planets. This era ended abruptly with a cataclysmic event, where an alien race decimated nearly all life in the Solar System. The few survivors on Earth were protected by a massive spaceship called the Traveler, belonging to another, more peaceful alien species. However, the threat was far from over, and players take on the role of Guardians—individuals granted special powers by the Traveler—tasked with facing these dangers.

Players confront the Hive, an alien race planning to summon the god Crota to destroy the Traveler and humanity. This adventure takes players to the asteroid belt known as The Reef, where they must assist the Awoken in defeating the Fallen. Continuing the story from The Dark Below, players must face Oryx, the father of Crota.

Destiny: The Collection is a first-person shooter that blends MMO and RPG elements. While the game can be played solo by progressing through the story campaign, it truly shines in multiplayer mode. Bungie has created various gameplay modes, including the Strike missions, where small groups of players team up to tackle objectives, usually culminating in defeating a powerful boss.
