Destiny 2: The Final Shape is an expansion for the looter shooter Destiny 2 and marks the conclusion of the "Light and Darkness" saga. This add-on introduces a new storyline campaign, a previously unexplored location, and additional super abilities.

In Destiny 2: The Final Shape, players embark on a journey into the heart of the Traveler, where the linear campaign culminates in ending the grand war and finally confronting the Witness, the main antagonist. A notable return in this expansion is Cayde-6, a beloved character presumed dead after the events of Destiny 2: Forsaken.

While The Final Shape doesn't revolutionize the core gameplay mechanics, it does expand the content significantly. Along with the new story missions, the expansion features a new map, the Blade Heart of the Traveler, unlocked after completing the main narrative. This perilous location introduces new enemies capable of binding Guardians with their powers. Additionally, the DLC provides players with new abilities: the Solar Warlock can enhance both their own and their allies' attacks, the Void Titan gains access to throwable axes (which allies can also pick up and use), and the Arc Hunter receives knives that allow for teleportation to struck targets.
