Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is an expansion for the bestselling FPS Destiny 2, developed by Bungie Software. This expansion introduces a new storyline and previously unexplored locations. It also adds a new weapon type and an entirely new crafting system.

The expansion centers around Savathûn, the Witch Queen, who, after the death of her brother Oryx, began operating from the shadows. For unknown reasons, she has come into possession of the Light and has managed to bestow its power upon her soldiers. Currently, the antagonist resides in the Throne World—a mysterious realm filled with secrets and lies. The player's mission is to infiltrate this world and uncover how she managed to steal the Light.

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is an FPS (first-person shooter) that maintains the gameplay perspective from a first-person view. Alongside new locations, this expansion provides players with access to a new weapon type called the Glaive. This weapon allows players to perform powerful attack combinations, fire projectiles, and deploy energy shields. Additionally, a crafting system has been introduced, enabling players to modify their weapons extensively, tailoring them to their specific needs.
