Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is an action-adventure game with an open-world setting developed by Insomniac Games. Players take on the role of the titular Spider-Man, facing off against various criminal elements that plague New York City. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered transports players to Manhattan Island, where Spider-Man's primary nemesis is the Demon gang, which has risen to power in the criminal underworld following the arrest of Wilson Fisk. This plunges the hero into a larger conspiracy involving other villains from his world.

Spider-Man isn't alone in this battle, as he can rely on the assistance of his girlfriend, Mary Jane Watson, and eventually his new friend, Miles Morales. The game is presented in third-person perspective (TPP), offering players an expansive open world to freely explore. Spider-Man effortlessly traverses the city by running along walls, scaling skyscraper rooftops, and leaping between buildings. Additionally, the protagonist uses his web-swinging abilities to glide above the streets of Manhattan, adding a dynamic and thrilling dimension to the gameplay.
